Our Texas Wagyu Beef

Wagyu is a breed of cattle originating from Japan. Wagyu were originally draft animals used in agriculture, and were selected for their physical endurance. This selection favored animals with more intra-muscular fat cells – ‘marbling’ – which provided a readily available energy source.  Many years of selective breeding has brought to us todays American Wagyu. The unique taste and tenderness of highly marbled Wagyu beef makes for an unrivaled eating experience.   Through many years of crossbreeding in America, the "American Wagyu" has been developed to bring you the flavor, tenderness and marbling of the Wagyu and the size benefits of the American beef breed.  We provide a minimum of F1 Wagyu (50% Wagyu & 50% American beef breed) up to F4 (93% Wagyu).  The F1 is the most common and what many find to be the best balance.  Our Wagyu beef will always be labeled with its "F" classification to ensure you know exactly what you are eating.
